Hulamin Containers Spicy Pumpkin Tart

Crust

  • 1 packet Moir’s Munch-a-Lot biscuits, crushed
  • 30ml butter or margarine, melted
  • 20cm Hulamin pie dish

Mix the above and use to line the pie dish to form the crust.

Filling

  • 3 extra-large eggs
  • 375ml fine butternut
  • 188ml brown sugar
  • 3,75ml cinnamon
  • 4ml ground ginger
  • 2,5ml salt
  • pinch nutmeg
  • 375ml evaporated milk

Preheat oven to 180°C.  Whisk eggs, sugar and evaporated milk together. Add the rest of the ingredients and bake until set. Decorate with slightly sweetened cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
