Aluminium Fabrication

Aluminium’s properties make the extrusions highly suitable for most types of fabrication. The bulk of the extrusions we deliver will go through some form of further processes such as fabrication, machining and surface treatment.

In the extrusion design stage, we encourage optimising the extrusion to minimise the need for further fabrication that makes fitting and assembly more efficient. However, some fabrication is often required even if the extrusion’s properties and functions have been optimised. Generally extrusions made of aluminium can be fabricated using most the methods and equipment available for other materials.

A series of specialised machines, including CNC controlled multi-operation machines with the ability to handle long lengths have been developed specifically for fabricating aluminium extrusions.
