Based in Nottingham Road and established 25 years ago, the Midlands Community College serves its rural communities by upgrading the skills of local students in areas such as Mathematics, Science, Agriculture, Technology and Cooking. On 16 August 2007 the College opened its new computer centre with equipment generously sponsored by Hulamin. "We are filled with gratitude to Hulamin for their enormous contribution in setting up our computer centre. We can't imagine how it would have been possible without your (Hulamin) support," said Executive Director, Msizi Buthelezi during the opening of the centre.
" Hulamin is proud to be associated with this project because we have no doubt that the Midlands Community College will utilize the computer centre in such a way that it makes a difference in the community. We also see this day as the beginning of a partnership with the College - we would also like to call on you (College) whenever we require services that your beneficiaries can provide," said Communications Manager, Mpume Mthembu.
